Her dreams betray her AGAIN.
This time he's getting married in her dreams. She's watching him celebrate with his new wife and as she lays his gift down, thinking no one is watching, about to leave the celebration, he taps her on the shoulder--to thank her. The look in his eyes is still there, the electricity is still there except there is a sadness. They will never be.
She watches him leave for his honeymoon just as everyone parts to let her say goodbye first (as if they knew).
Maybe one day in time they will be one.
